THE POSITION
Bring creativity, passion and innovation for the highest food standards that will put this venue on the map for culinary excellence
Successfully managing, training, mentoring, and developing a kitchen team including chefs, kitchen hands, cooks and logistics
Deliver to our client and customer high expectations of a premium experience
Controlling stock, preparing budgets, operating within strict budgetary constraints
Be the ambassador for a food culture that will bring this business to the fore as a destination for the highest standard of function and retail catering
Be accountable for food production of various areas, in accordance with timing requirements
Champion the significance and accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
Ensure operations comply with OH&S and food safety guidelines
THE PERSON
Chef trade's qualification with experience in a comparable multi retail and function venue environment
Previous experience in high end corporate events
Proven ability in large-scale high-end functions
Drive, personality creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation
Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
Experience in developing and delivering concepts for multiple retail offers
