Key Duties:
Assisting the Retail Manager with day-to-day operations across our outlets with the focus on the well renowned Garden Restaurant
Assist in coordinating the front of house team’s daily operations
Lead the team to deliver exceptional, prompt, and friendly service
Lead from the front, mentor and train the team, ensuring a fun and energetic working environment
Optimise team members rostered to increase revenue and productivity
Address any guest feedback in a timely manner to ensure everyone has the best experience possible
Consistently follow safety guidelines when performing tasks or using equipment reporting all hazards, near misses or accidents to appropriate personnel
About You:
Demonstrated previous experience in a similar restaurant/retail environment
Experience leading a team, identify opportunities for improvement, train and develop staff
Good knowledge of Melbourne food and beverage scene
Excellent communication skills, ability to confidently lead team briefing sessions with up to twelve team members
Experience with an online booking system
Well-groomed and professional in appearance with attention to detail
Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
