About the Role

We are seeking an organised and safety‑focused Stores Attendant to join our team at Olympic Dam, South Australia, on a 14/7 FIFO roster. This role is responsible for receiving, managing, and maintaining stock, while supporting on‑site operations with accurate inventory control and safe material handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and materials.
• Organise, rotate, and maintain stock in a clean, orderly, and compliant manner.
• Defrost goods according to menu requirements and scheduled timelines.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate entries within inventory management systems.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Liaise with supervisors and internal teams to meet stock and operational needs.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, warehousing, or inventory control.
• Knowledge of stock management processes and inventory systems.
• Current forklift licence and demonstrated forklift operating experience.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer literacy, including inventory software.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Comfortable working in warehouse, storage, and cold-room/freezer environments.
