The Position:

Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager, reporting into our Senior Manager of Business Development ; where you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth and sales strategy across the Healthcare, Senior Living, and IFMS sectors. In this exciting position, you'll leverage your expertise to identify and convert direct sales opportunities, nurturing our existing client relationships while also tapping into new markets.

Your strategic insights will help build and maintain a robust pipeline of multi-year opportunities, ensuring we remain a leader in our industry. Additionally, you'll be integral in retaining contracts during re-tender processes, all while championing our commitment to a culture of safety. You will partner with key stakeholders in operations, commercial and other support departments to ensure we remain competitive and best in class with our service offering. The Role:

  • Take full ownership of new account sales, managing the entire sales process from prospect identification and pipeline management to proposal development, competitiveness, service agreements and closing negotiations.
  • You'll be responsible for crafting compelling proposals and ensuring a seamless transition from initial engagement to contract execution
  • Develop and qualify new customer contacts consisting of decision makers and business influencers for the Company’s various product and service offerings
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities with effective pursuit strategies to achieve annual sales targets
  • Cultivate and nurture customer relationships throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle, turning prospects into long-term partners and driving mutual success!
  • Forge and leverage strong relationships with senior and executive stakeholders to drive business success and achieve strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to create portfolio-specific sales collateral informed by industry insights and market analysis, driving effective engagement and outreach
  • Conduct market research on industry trends and dynamics, offering actionable recommendations for strategic growth while collaborating with operations to develop and test innovative customer-facing service solutions
  • Strong commitment to upholding and promoting our safety culture

The Person:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing / Management or Business Studies and a demonstrated passion for learning
  • Bring 3-5 years of experience in the IFM Services industry, specifically within the Healthcare and Senior Living sectors.
  • Previous experience in  operational P&L accountability is highly desirable.
  • Leverage a broad range of influencing skills and exceptional verbal communication abilities to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, effectively leading meetings and delivering impactful presentations
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling, influencing situations and negotiating outcomes at a senior level within the B2B market
  • Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen to identify growth opportunities, drive strategic initiatives, and make informed decisions that enhance overall business performance
  • Proven experience in consistent year-on-year consumer sales revenue growth, and improved profitability
  • Proven experience in delivering innovation and digital consumer technologies to generate revenue
