ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian outback. 

The Position

• Manage health/wellbeing initiatives, fitness and recreational activities for residents
• Oversee the sporting, leisure and recreational facilities on site 
• Implement and manage site events (charity/fundraising events, entertainment, etc)
• Administration and support Tastelife nutrition program and site injury management processes

The Person:

• Demonstrate a pro-active, well organised approach to work independently
• Excellent communication/presentation skills
• Passion for physical and mental health and fitness
• High level focus on customer service and engagement
• Administrative capabilities
• Certificate IV in Fitness - or - Diploma of Sport and Recreation
• Minimum six (6) months experience working in a fitness facility or similar position

Highly Desirable:  

• Safe Pool Operations qualifications
• Bachelor of Human Movement, Physical Education, Exercise Science/Physiology, Nutrition
• Events co-ordination and health promotion background
• Group fitness qualifications
• Physical education teaching experience (primary or secondary school)
