Catering Assistant

$25.86 per hour + 12% superannuation

• 7.30am–2.30pm hours — Monday to Friday daytime shifts

• Rostrevor College Canteen — Serving food and drinks to Year 12 students

• Wonderful location — Easily accessible with strong public transport links from the city

The Position

• Work within the Canteen, serving food and drinks to year 12 students
• Provide friendly customer service
• Fast paced environment
• Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
• Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices.

The Person

• Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired within cafe or canteen environment
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Have strong organisational skills
• Excels in high-pressure environments
• Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings
• Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
