Catering Assistant

$25.86 + 25% Casual Loading

• Cafe Allrounder wanted for flexible hours over a 6 day roster
• Predominately day time shifts with a few evening shifts for events
• Work close to home!

The Position

• Assisting with deliveries
• Assist the kitchen to prepare and present food and beverages
• Provide friendly customer service
• Fast paced environment
• Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
• Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices.

The Person

• Full and clean drivers license with the ability to drive a small van 
• Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
• Some experience with coffee making is advantageous
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Able to work unsupervised
• Excels in high-pressure environments
• Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings
• Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
• Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
