The Position: 

• Assist in the preparation of a variety of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Support kitchen organisation by maintaining cleanliness, organising supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, following instructions and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Follow established safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Provide assistance in fulfilling resident needs, ensuring prompt and efficient service while maintaining high food quality.

Who You Are: 

• Proficient in high-volume, buffet-style kitchen operations.
• Preferably experienced in FIFO (Fly-In/Fly-Out) work environments.
• Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Skilled in adhering to safe food handling procedures.
• Capable of maintaining professionalism in high-pressure kitchen settings.
• Able to successfully complete pre-employment medical assessments, including drug and alcohol screening.
• Passionate about acquiring and mastering new culinary skills.
