Through educating students on healthy choices and providing bespoke fresh food options, Chartwells brings the High Street food experience to education. But it doesn’t stop at food. We offer personalised solutions with a focus on adding value to hospitality services in education.

The Position

• Oversee daily catering operations and assist in service delivery
• Lead, motivate, and support a small team to ensure high standards of food presentation and customer service
• Assist with food preparation and service as required
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor stock levels, control costs, and minimise wastage
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and service area

The Person

• Current Blue Card or ability to obtain
• Previous experience in a catering, supervisory, or team leader role (education environment advantageous)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Confident using POS systems and handling cash
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to train and develop others
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Current RSA
