- Must be available to work a combination of Morning and Evening shifts
- Shifts available are 5am to 1pm, 8am to 4pm and 4pm to 1am
- Work life balance - Rosters published 4 weeks in advance
Our Lounge teams work in some of the world’s most renowned airport lounges across Australia, providing first class hospitality to travelers looking for a touch of luxury, sophistication, and the highest service standards that our country has to offer. The roles will see you interacting with local and international guests, and no two days will ever be the same.
The Position
- Prepare premium dishes using fresh, high‑quality ingredients to meet airline lounge standards
- Work in a calm, supportive environment with a collaborative culinary team
- Ensure full OH&S and food safety compliance across all kitchen operations
- Manage inventory and minimize waste through accurate stock control and cost‑effective practices
- Maintain exceptional hygiene standards to uphold a spotless, well‑organized kitchen
- Deliver elevated culinary experiences for first and business class guests in a world‑class airport lounge
The Person
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with strong foundational culinary skills
- Experience across production, buffet and a la carte environments, ideally within high‑volume or premium settings
- Passion for quality and presentation with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
- Flexible approach to roster patterns and changing operational needs
- Hands‑on team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced airport lounge kitchen
- Legal right to work in Australia as sponsorship is not available for this role
- ASIC security clearance - willingness to obtain (fully supported by the employer)
