Work 8 hour shifts usually between 9am-5pm across Monday-Friday

Due to an uplift in our operation, we currently have opportunities for a casual Chef to join our dedicated Medirest Living team at the North Canberra Hospital in Bruce, ACT.
THE POSITION
Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with procedures
Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning
Responsible for maintaining food safety documents
Stock control and rotation
Excellent customer service and communication skills
THE PERSON
Knowledge of food hygiene & OH&S
Excellent time management, organisational, communication skills
Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or another Chef qualification)
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza (or willing to be)
Possess a National Police Clearance or a Working with Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Willing to undergo a serology clearance
