Chef

$32.00 per hour + 12% super

• Full time and part time chefs needed for Bruce Hall
• A role with variety. You will be delivering up to 3 meals per day on a 7 day roster
• Work close to home in Acton

THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Parking available on site 

THE PERSON

• A qualified Chef with Cert 3 and 4 in Commercial Cookery
• Experience cooking bulk quantities in a large scale production kitchen
• Experience cooking for functions highly regarded
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
• All-rounder experience and able to cook Savoury & sweet desserts
• Able to have a valid working with children's check & Police Clearance
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
