We are seeking enthusiastic Cooks and Chefs to join our teams at Blamey Barracks, Kapooka and RAAF Base Wagga, Forest Hill. These full-time opportunities offer the chance to work in structured kitchen environments while building your skills and experience within Compass Group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare high-quality meals in a bulk cooking environment
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Support stock control, deliveries and kitchen operations
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
• Support meal preparation and service during busy periods
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

For Chef Applicants

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Experience in commercial kitchens, catering or bulk food production
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management

For Cook Applicants

• Relevant cooking experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

For All Applicants

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, team-focused and committed to delivering quality food
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider kitchen team
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
