$35.00 Per Hour + 12% Superannuation

Due to growth and expansion of our services, we are excited to be launching a new site under our Eurest sector in Brisbane! We’re on the hunt for an experienced Sous Chef to lead a premium corporate catering operation! This full-time role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-end dining experiences.

THE POSITION:

• Food preparation and cooking
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
• Friendly customer service
• Function work and large volume cooking
• Stocktake and control
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

THE PERSON:

• Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
• An understanding of Café style food advantageous
• Can be highly organised & fast paced
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
• Basic understanding of OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
