Full-time Chef Runaway Bay

Gold Coast, QLD 

$32 p/h+ 12% of superannuation

The Role

• Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of our breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet for school camps and sporting groups
• Ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
• Ensure the safe production of a quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided

The Person

• Previous experience within a similar capacity gained within function environments or bulk cooking for numbers up to 50-300
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Able to work on your own and think on your feet when needed.
• Willing to be part of the team and contribute to daily workplace requirements
• Ability to maintain a calm and respectful demeanour - always!

• At least 5 years’ experience as a qualified chef
• Minimum of Certificate III Commercial Cookery
• Current Blue Card
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required (penalties applied)
• Able to provide at least two(2) references from previous employers
