Step into a pivotal leadership role at our Campus East site, where your culinary expertise and management experience truly shine. We’re seeking a hands‑on chef‑manager with 5 years in leadership who loves being at the heart of the action. With a dynamic seven‑day operation, you’ll enjoy variety across day and evening shifts while guiding a passionate team and shaping an exceptional food experience.

Key Duties 

  • Key role to manage Campus East site – senior management position.
  • Hands-on operator – chef-based managerial role.
  • Must be able to work across a seven-day roster, including day and evening shifts.
  • Plan, supervise, and oversee menu-based catering for students.
  • Successfully manage, mentor, and develop your culinary team, including kitchen hands, cooks, and chefs.
  • Deliver a premium experience that meets client expectations.
  • Champion the accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.

The Person 

  • Minimum 5+ years in a management role with culinary experience.
  • Must be able to work across a seven-day roster, including day and evening shifts as required.
  • Unwavering passion for food, cooking, and creating nutritious meals
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • Skilled in stock control, ordering, budgeting, and food cost management
  • Committed to sustainable practices and sourcing local produce
  • Experienced in overseeing daily operations, staff training, and performance management; Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
