As the new year takes shape, we are bolstering up our relief pool of casual staff – currently looking for qualified chefs to support our operations across our business.

THE POSITION

  • Support our kitchen teams across the sectors - providing relief or supporting the teams in peak periods.
  • Fast paced and often high volume.
  • Attention to detail & high level of quality output required at all times.
  • Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings.
  • Complete awareness for safety in the workplace including allergen awareness and all dietary requirements.
  • An interest and passion for nutrition and healthy eating.
  • Work alongside peers, head chefs, chef managers or site managers to ensure all food served exceeds our clients’ expectations.
  • Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum.
  • Mostly Monday to Friday role.

 THE PERSON

  • Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery (at a minimum).
  • Previous experience in similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, with superior customer service skills.
  • Great energy and professional presentation.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • The willingness to work across various sectors and locations (i.e. Education, Venues, Corporate, etc.).
  • Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police check and/or a Working with children check (Blue Card).
