Chef Supervisor - Full-time

• Full-time Monday-Friday position 6:00AM-2:30PM

Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, basic, nutritious meals for students
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Food transport between main campus and Junior School campus (Valid Australian driver's license required)
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Responsibility for HSEQ & Food Safety documentation (must either have or be willing to undertake FSS training course)

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
• Effective communication – The role requires daily interaction with clients to manage and coordinate the local operations of the Junior Campus.
