Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.
THE POSITION
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals in bulk to support our buffet-style service
- Contribute to menu ideas using local, seasonal ingredients while minimizing food waste
- Maintain stock levels and adhere to hygiene and food safety standards
- Deliver healthy meal options and nutritional guidance to students
- Baking skills are essential for preparing our in-house baked goods
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
- 5 years experience as a chef & experience with cooking in bulk quantities
- Confident working with dietary requirements and allergen management protocols
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
