Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

THE POSITION

•  Prepare fresh, nutritious meals daily for 300 boarding students
•  Lead the team in the afternoons and on the weekends
•  Stakeholder management with the boarding director and the boarders
• Assist with functions and events during the year
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
•  Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Plenty of career growth opportunities
• Flexibility with hours will be required during the school holidays when our focus switched from boarding to camps

THE PERSON

•  Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
•  Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
•  Experience with bulk cooking preferred
•  Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
•  Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
