Old Parliament House is a spectacular, historic and unique venue which caters for conferences, gala dinners, cocktails, weddings and public events. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a world-class venue with a talented team of events professionals.

The Position

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality events, functions, and dining operations while acting as the primary liaison for internal and external clients.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, including compiling detailed run sheets, designing floorplans, and managing the invoicing process.
• Facilitate the seamless, end-to-end execution of all on-site events and functions.
• Liaise directly with kitchen and service teams during weekly run sheet meetings to align on room setups and menu requirements.
• Conduct post-event follow-up correspondence with clients and proactively manage feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a warm, friendly, and welcoming experience for all clients and guests.
• Provide high-level administrative support to the site’s senior management team.
• Maintain strict compliance with the established Our Safety Culture framework across all operations.
