Salary: $95,000 + $5,000 bonus + 12% Superannuation

You don’t need previous FIFO experience – but bulk cooking experience, the ability to work independently, and strong time management skills are essential.

The Role

• Breakfast & Pastry Experience

• Buffet style bulk cooking experience

• Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room attendants

• Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures

• Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum 

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards

The Person

• Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery

• Bulk Catering Experience

• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations

• Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines

• Able to pass Pre-Employment Medicals 

• National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
