We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a skilled Groundsperson to join our remote village based in the Roma region in the Surat Basin. Here you will be responsible for the pristine upkeep of our grounds and may also perform some maintenance work as required.

The roster is 14 days on 7 days off – 10 hour days with flights, accommodation, meals and uniforms.

The Position

• Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden including but not limited to: turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the grounds.
• Provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as required
• Chemical handling experience (desirable)
• Industrial cleaning experience where required
• Operate and maintain equipment and machinery
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required

The Person

• General maintenance experience/trades or labouring background (desirable)
• Competent in operating general maintenance/grounds equipment and chemical handling
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Valid and current drivers licence
• Physically fit with ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test
• High attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Forklift ticket (desirable)
• ACDC Weed spraying certificate (desirable)
