ESS Defence delivers exceptional hospitality and support services to Defence sites across Australia. From dining facilities to accommodation and recreation services, our teams play a vital role in supporting Australian Defence Force personnel through high-quality hospitality experiences.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Randwick Barracks. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high operational standards.

THE POSITION

• Lead and support front-of-house team members during daily operations
• Supervise food and beverage service across dining facilities and hospitality functions
• Coordinate meal services and special event requirements
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation
• Assist with staff training, coaching and development
• Support rostering and daily operational requirements
• Promote a positive and professional team culture

THE PERSON

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader or similar hospitality role
• Strong people management, coaching and development skills
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management
• Experience with rostering, workforce planning and daily operations
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Hold a current RSA or be willing to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence Baseline Clearance
