ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking Food & Beverage Attendants to join our teams across Lavarack Barracks and RAAF Base Townsville. Opportunities are available across Part-Time and Casual rosters, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work arrangements or stable part-time employment within a supportive hospitality environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation, meal service and cleaning duties
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Support dining room and service operations
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Support kitchen and hospitality operations as required
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in hospitality, food service or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable with flexible availability
• Knowledge of food safety practices preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a structured team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
