THE POSITION

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Café Ngalinga ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures
• Lead, motivate, and support the café team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a high-performance culture
• Train new and existing staff on service standards, food safety, and operational procedures
• Manage inventory, ordering, product rotation, maximising sales and minimising waste
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Build strong customer relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service

THE PERSON

• Personality and relationship skills required in communicating with customers and the team
• Strong barista skills and team leader experience essential
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for quality
