We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at RAAF Base Wagga, Forest Hill. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and driving operational excellence.

THE POSITION

• Lead, coach and develop front and back-of-house hospitality teams and chefs
• Oversee daily dining and food service operations
• Drive service excellence and customer satisfaction outcomes
• Manage rostering, workforce planning and team performance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and contractual service delivery requirements
• Coordinate functions, events and hospitality requirements
• Manage operational budgets, stock control and service standards
• Build a positive team culture focused on accountability and engagement
• Develop strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and customers

THE PERSON

• Proven experience in hospitality management or food and beverage leadership
• Strong computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office programs
• Strong people management, coaching and development skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management
• Experience with rostering, workforce planning and operational management
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
