LEAP is a Defence project for the supply and operation of living-in accommodation for single members of the Australian Defence Force. We work in small, close-knit teams who will be there to support you on your journey. Our long term contract provides job stability, longevity and career growth. The Position

• General Groundsperson/Handyperson duties (Grounds and gardens maintenance, laundry, office and public spaces)
• Garden Care - spray/whipper snipper/mowing
• Competent in operating general maintenance and grounds equipment and chemical handling
• Responding to service requests for building maintenance
• Specialised cleaning where required

The Person

• Physically fit
• A great work ethic and ability to learn
• General handyperson/ grounds work in hotel style accommodation would be highly advantageous
• Good communication skills with a flexible approach
• Follow work safe procedures
• Because this is a Defence Base, we can only open this opportunity to Australian Citizens with a current driver’s licence
• Federal Police check prior to commencing employment
