The Role
Oversee food production and menu-based catering across this 42 room, modern aged care facility.
Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders including residents
Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
The Person
Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
Experience in the healthcare sector highly favoured
Strong commercial acumen with good inventory management
Shits availability 6.30am -2.30pm and flexible to work every second weekend
