The Position

• Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production and menu-based catering for this premium international airline lounge 
• Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness, ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls are in place and comply with OH&S and HACCP guidelines 
• Creating a positive work culture and mentoring your team to deliver to the highest standard
• Using first class produce, ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
• Deliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experience

The Person

• Certificates in Commercial Cookery with min 3+ years experience as a Head Chef 
• Confident talking to suppliers, sourcing produce, competent and confident with choosing ingredients regarding allergens
• Available to work predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasion weekends required to cover team absence
• Very strong Knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP regulations, 
• A proactive leader who is professional, positive, supportive, and motivated 
• Experience with full P&L Management and Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills 

** Successful candidate will be required to pass an ASIC security clearance as part of the onboarding process
