THE POSITION
Lead a dedicated team in our beautiful café, catering for up to 950 students daily, while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the kitchen
Remain focused, organised, and supportive while cooking in bulk for a large number of people and leading your team through busy service times.
Upholding the highest standards of food safety, allergen management, and occupational health.
Overseeing procurement, cost control, inventory, and kitchen operations with a focus on sustainability and minimal waste.
Hands-on leadership, mentoring, and team development within a retail setting
THE PERSON
• A polished culinary professional with a strong presence, exceptional communication skills, and a background in a cafe setting • Proven leadership experience in a busy kitchen or service environment • A proactive, mature, and composed approach to kitchen leadership • A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one • Commitment to food safety, allergen protocols, and staff development
