ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

A rare opportunity for people living in Mount Isa has arisen. We’re looking for experienced Hospitality Staff, interested in working a variety of rosters that live locally to the area and are wanting the opportunity to work at our Mine Site Villages, for Drive In Drive Out engagement.

The Positions

  • Mine Site Cleaners, including communal buildings and facilities on the mine site, offices, training rooms, crib huts, washrooms, locker rooms, etc.
  • Kitchen Staff for our Commercial Kitchens
  • Housekeepers across our Mine Site Villages
  • Bus / Coach Drivers (min MR Licence + Drivers Authority)

The Person

  • Heavy industrial cleaning experience in a fast-paced work environments
  • Must have your own reliable transport and an open valid driver's license
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and autonomously as required.
  • Be conditioned to the extreme weather in North QLD
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
