We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Defence team. This role is responsible for overseeing accommodation services and cleaning operations, ensuring high standards across site facilities while leading a small team in a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of accommodation and cleaning services. Working closely with site leadership and operational teams, you will ensure accommodation requirements are met, resources are effectively allocated, and service standards are maintained.

• Rockhampton

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee all Working Accommodation and Living-In Accommodation (LIA) bookings.
• Coordinate and allocate daily tasks to the Housekeeping/Cleaning team.
• Supervise daily cleaning and accommodation services across site.
• Raise work orders (WO's) for exercises and cost recovery activities.
• Ensure accommodation facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Monitor compliance with HSEQ and Defence requirements.
• Complete reporting, record keeping and administrative tasks.
• Support customer service and stakeholder engagement across site.
• Assist the Housekeeping/Cleaning team with operational duties during peak periods and as required.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping, accommodation or cleaning supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Experience managing accommodation bookings and service delivery.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and allocate tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence Security Clearance.
• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
