• 8/6 11.5hr day (8 days on 6 days off)
• DIDO (drive in and drive out) to Moranabah, Middlemount and Moura

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Housekeeping Supervisors to work on our remote accommodation villages in Middlemount, Moranbah and Moura Central Queensland. 

This role is 8 days on, 6 days off 11.5hr day and is drive-in, drive-out, therefore locals are encouraged to apply.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results
• This is a physical, hands-on role, where you are expected to also work alongside the team

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role- Mine Site and Housekeeping Cleaning experience will be highly regarded
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Open Australian Drivers License
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
