Compass Group is a world leader in catering and support services. We are currently recruiting a People Services Advisor to join our National People Services Team, providing critical HR support to our many operations nation-wide.
The Position
Supporting our line Managers by providing customer-focussed HR support and advice to managers that aligns and adheres to organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.
This includes award and agreement interpretation, policy advice, employee grievance support, performance management support, absence management and other HR generalist tasks.
Coach line managers on how to engage, develop, reward and retain their employees
Reporting to the HR People Services Manager, you will also contribute towards team HR projects
Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a seamless delivery to all stakeholders
The Person
Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Broad range of generalist HR experience, within a workforce that is unionised
Demonstrable experience in Awards and Enterprise Agreements interpretation
Previous experience in grievances, performance management, and complaint investigation
Experience in navigating a variety of HRIS or HRMS and reporting systems
Proactive, well organised, and can work autonomously in an unsupervised environment
A broad range of influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
