We are seeking motivated Kitchenhands to join our teams at RMC Duntroon and the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) in Canberra. With Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual opportunities available, these roles are ideal for candidates looking for stable employment, flexible work options or the opportunity to build hospitality experience within a supportive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with basic food preparation and general kitchen duties
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Support chefs and kitchen teams during meal services
• Maintain clean and organised kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Kitchenhand, hospitality or food service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliable approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices preferred
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
