We are seeking a reliable and motivated Laundry Attendant to join our team in West Wyalong, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of laundry, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and providing excellent customer service within a team environment.

• Laundry Attendant 7 days on 7 days off – 10 hours per day
• Full Time Permanent salary $61,807 + superannuation
• Residential position in West Wyalong, NSW. You will be home every night!

The Position:

• Collect, sort, process, and distribute laundry items, ensuring all linen and clothing are handled, washed, dried, folded, and delivered accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washing machines, dryers, and other specialised equipment, using appropriate wash programs and handling requirements.
• Monitor and replenish laundry chemicals and cleaning agents as required, ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and reporting faults promptly.
• Maintain clean, hygienic, and safe laundry facilities through routine cleaning, disinfecting, waste disposal, stain removal, and odour control activities.
• Ensure all work areas comply with workplace health, safety, and quality standards while contributing to an efficient and organised laundry service.

The Person:

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, hospitality, or a similar environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely with chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods.
