Role Overview

As a Security Officer Supervisor, you will lead and support security operations on remote sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and delivering a high standard of service. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security team activities on site.
• Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols.
• Respond to fire/security alarms, anti-social behaviour, room lockouts, and administer basic first aid.
• Perform gatehouse and access control duties.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report incidents.
• Provide basic crowd control when required.
• Compile security audits and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with company and client safety standards.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Security Supervisor.
• Minimum 2 years FIFO security experience.
• Cert II in Security Operations.
• Current Security Officer Licence and Crowd Control Licence.
• Manual Driver’s Licence.
• National Police Clearance
• White Card, RSA Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
• Ability and willingness to complete prerequisite training:
• Snake Handler Certificate of Competency
• Drug & Alcohol Screening Training
• Driver Training
• Fire Response Training
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in remote locations under extreme weather conditions.

Desirable Qualifications

• MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card).
• Aviation Screening Qualification.
• Operate Light Vehicle Certification.
• Fire Extinguisher Training.
• CCTV and Operations Centre experience.
• Confined Space Emergency Training (PUAWER008B).
• Traffic Management Training (RIIWHS302D).
• Previous Defence Force or Police experience.
• ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) qualifications.
