The Position
Fly in Fly out from Adelaide, SA and flexibility of 5x2 or 4x3 roster!
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee on behalf of our Client BHP, the Hard Facilities Management Contract, which includes the maintenance of Non Process Infrastructure within the villages, housing and mine site locations, ensuring compliance, performance, and high-quality service delivery. Reporting to the Delta FM General Manager and working alongside the Site Area Manager of Soft Services you will:
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams, including maintenance staff, subcontractors, and support services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and legislative standards while driving a positive safety culture.
Manage budgets, optimise resources, and drive financial performance.
Oversee contract KPIs, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop, mentor, and train team members to foster a high-performing workforce.
The Person To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities, project, or asset management.
Proven ability to manage multiple sites and lead diverse teams.
Strong commercial acumen with budget management expertise.
Comprehensive understanding of WHS and environmental principles.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
Competency in using IT systems to support operations.
A valid driver’s license.
Contract management experience.
