THE POSITION
Oversee the daily operations of Hub Coordination Model, including cleaning, Patient Food Services, Patient Transport, and other non-clinical functions.
Responsible for overseeing the non-clinical services that contribute to patient care
Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to ensure smooth service delivery.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Hospital Patient Support Services
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Liaise with clinical staff to understand clinical wards and department pressures for the day and mobilise resources to respond.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, health and safety regulations, and infection control standards.
THE PERSON
Demonstrated knowledge of hospital operations, including patient care and support services.
In depth knowledge of health, safety environment and quality, and commitment to safety leadership.
Previous leadership role within healthcare
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing operational contracts and budgets.
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Wiling to obtain or provide proof of immunity for vaccine preventable diseases.
A degree or diploma in healthcare management, business administration or related field is desirable but not essential
