At 28 Villages, we provide remote accommodation, catering and support services to mining companies operating in remote Western Australia. We deliver village management services, bringing our villages to life through friendly customer service and outstanding catering.

We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee the operational performance, continuous improvement, and strategic delivery of services across 2 villages. This role is ideal for a driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing complex logistics, stakeholder relationships, and high‑volume operational oversight.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance, performance, and people leadership across the villages. You’ll regularly engage with site managers, client representatives, contractors, and internal teams to ensure performance standards and contractual obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and mentor village management teams across two sites, ensuring consistent operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, service quality, maintenance, and workforce capability.
• Manage budgets, operational KPIs, and contract delivery obligations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment to expectations.
• Champion a positive workplace culture focused on safety, accountability, and teamwork.

About You

You are an influential and approachable leader with a proven track record in large-scale operations management—ideally within FIFO, facilities management, hospitality, mining services, construction, or similar environments. You bring a high level of commercial acumen, an ability to adapt quickly, and strong capability in building engaged, high‑performing teams.

You will also demonstrate:

• 5+ years’ experience in project or operational management roles (remote operations highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of village, camp, or accommodation services
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities across dispersed teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Solid safety leadership and commitment to compliance standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Role Requirements

• Manual driver’s licence
• Approved Manager’s Licence
• Proficiency in INX software
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
• Ability to pass medical and drug/alcohol screening
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Safety and training qualifications highly regarded
