        About the role
        As a Project Scheduler & Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and financial accuracy. You’ll manage and coordinate work orders across all maintenance activities to guarantee timely delivery, while preparing precise cost estimates and bills of quantities to support effective project planning and control. Your work will ensure every project meets contractual and quality standards, exceeding expectations for both the company and the client. 
         

        Key Responsibilities

        Scheduling

        • Coordinate daily scheduling of planned and reactive works.
        • Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely provision of services.
        • Support operational teams by aligning schedules with resource availability and contract requirements.
        • Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors.

        Estimating

        • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for projects.
        • Review drawings, specifications, and inclusions for accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
        • Manage tenders and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing.
        • Identify value-engineering opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize budgets.
        • Maintain and update internal cost databases and historical pricing records.

        Compliance & Reporting

        • Ensure all scheduling and estimating activities comply with company standards and contractual obligations.
        • Assist with contract reviews, variations, and progress claims.
        • Produce accurate progress reports on scheduling and cost performance.

         

        Skills & Experience

        Essential

        • Previous experience in scheduling, maintenance coordination, or similar within facilities management or construction
        • Proven experience as an Estimator in the maintenance, facilities management or construction industry 
        • Proficiency in scheduling tools and estimating software and advanced MS Excel skills.
        • Acute attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
        • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
        • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

        Desirable

        • Understanding of work order management systems.
        • Ability to interpret engineering designs for costing and constructability purposes.
        • Passion for sustainability and energy-efficient solutions.

        You'll be working amongst a Camp and Accommodation Maintenance team of approximately 60 Delta FM Team, on a site comprising of 2650 rooms in Village, 500 homes in Roxby Downs and another 462 in Minesite. Site includes amenities such as Pools, BBQ’s, Gym, Squash Room, Outdoor area with Courts etc. Flights are from Adelaide Airport, approx. 90 mins, or DIDO from Roxby Downs.
