Remote Bar Supervisor
At ESS, we deliver essential services that keep remote operations running smoothly supporting people working in some of Australia’s most unique and isolated environments. We’re currently seeking a driven and experienced Tavern Supervisor to join our team at Tanami.
This is your opportunity to step into a key leadership role, take ownership of a busy site tavern, and create an environment where teams can unwind, connect, and recharge after a hard day’s work.
The Role:
As Tavern Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of village life leading from the front and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high-quality service experience.
The Position
- Lead daily tavern operations and supervise your team on shift
- Prepare and serve beverages in line with RSA requirements
- Manage stock, ordering, and minimise wastage
- Handle cash and POS systems in line with company procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse workforce
- Maintain presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
- Support rostering and team coordination
- Foster a positive, team-focused culture within the bar
The Person
You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both leadership and energy to your team.
- Proven experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Valid RSA certification
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
- Flexible, reliable, and resilient approach to FIFO life
- Strong commitment to safety and workplace standards
