Cleaning Supervisor

Roster: 8:6
Location: Olympic Dam Village 

ESS Manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or “villages” for remote works, providing the essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.

The Position: 

We are seeking and experienced leader to Supervise the performance of cleaners and housekeepers. Must ensure that all tasks associated with cleaning and housekeeping are performed whilst supporting and promoting our safety culture framework. All these tasks must be done in conjunction with the contractual requirements of the unit.

• Lead and allocate daily cleaning tasks, providing hands-on support where required.
• Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring compliance with company policies, HSEQ standards, and contractual cleaning requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain high standards of presentation and service.
• Manage rosters and support scheduling and team development.
• Identify and resolve conflict situations.
• Adhere to health, safety and security procedures.
• Maintain safe personal presentation standards.
• Provide feedback on health safety and security.
• Report all incidents immediately.
• Identify and report all hazards.

The Person: 

• Experience in leading a large & diverse team.
• Experience in housekeeping servicing industry.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to motivate and support others.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and confidence in making decisions.
• Ability to lead by example and uphold standards.
• Full Australian Driver’s License (required).
• Forklift License (desirable).
