The Position

• Be responsible for the Sales and Marketing of functions across our RA Venues locations in Perth. 
• Grow functions revenue across the portfolio through client relationships and innovation. 
• Build client networks and relationships to promote and grow functions at all locations, delivering memorable service.
• Develop and convert event concepts, ensuring smooth planning and exceptional guest experiences.
• Conduct site visits, follow up with clients, create detailed event documentation, and evaluate post-event outcomes.
• Coordinate with event operations and kitchen teams for seamless handovers and execution of functions.
• Partner with preferred suppliers, nurturing strong relationships to support event needs

The Person

• Proven track record in event sales and planning, including corporate functions and large-scale gatherings.
• Experience working in large venue settings, providing insight into logistical challenges and event management considerations.
• 5+ years of experience in a functions venue sales, event marketing, catering, hospitality, or similar environment. 
• Strong leadership abilities with effective team coordination of staff, vendors, and volunteers during event execution.
• Excellent time management, communication skills, and proficiency in event management software or IT tools.
