The Position
- Be responsible for the Sales and Marketing of functions across our RA Venues locations in Perth.
- Grow functions revenue across the portfolio through client relationships and innovation.
- Build client networks and relationships to promote and grow functions at all locations, delivering memorable service.
- Develop and convert event concepts, ensuring smooth planning and exceptional guest experiences.
- Conduct site visits, follow up with clients, create detailed event documentation, and evaluate post-event outcomes.
- Coordinate with event operations and kitchen teams for seamless handovers and execution of functions.
- Partner with preferred suppliers, nurturing strong relationships to support event needs
The Person
- Proven track record in event sales and planning, including corporate functions and large-scale gatherings.
- Experience working in large venue settings, providing insight into logistical challenges and event management considerations.
- 5+ years of experience in a functions venue sales, event marketing, catering, hospitality, or similar environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective team coordination of staff, vendors, and volunteers during event execution.
- Excellent time management, communication skills, and proficiency in event management software or IT tools.
