Security Officer - McArthur River
Omega Security Services Pty Ltd (ABN 46 114 100 962) are seeking experienced Security Officers to work remotely at our McArthur River Mine Site in an ongoing full-time basis.
The Position
You will be responsible for the provision and supervision of effective and responsive security services across the site. Due to the nature of the work environment, you will be interacting with clients, residents, visitors, staff, and contractors daily. As such, you will be a confident communicator and will be able to respond to queries in a professional manner.
- 14 days on 14 days off – 12-hour days, annualised wage $84,848 + Super
- 14 days on 7 days off - 12 hour days, annualised wage $119,902 + Super
- Night shift with the applicable penalties
- Ensure site integrity and safety
- Site access control for people and vehicles
- Mobile security checks of site perimeter, camp, and lay-down areas
- Maintain daily security logs
- Emergency response and incident control
- Crowd control for bar and tavern areas
- Snake handling
The Person
- Have at least 2 years on the job experience
- Certificate II Security Operations Certificate
- NT Security Officer License
- Crowd Control License
- White Card
- RSA: Responsible service of alcohol qualification
- Senior First Aid + CPR Certificate
- Valid Police Check
- NT Manual Driver’s License
