THE POSITION

  • Hold overall accountability for the effective management of a large FM contract with a key client situated in the Northern Territory, ensuring a thorough understanding and application of contractual scope, commercial terms, service levels, and client expectations.
  • Maintain overall delivery of services at a tactical and transactional level.
  • Manage planned, corrective and unplanned deliverables to ensure completed within compliance, contract and KPI timeframes.
  • Working within a safe and efficient manner to manage day-to-day interfaces between operational management, site management, sub-contractors and the client to ensure high quality maintenance planning.
  • Monitor expenditure of Planned and Reactive Maintenance.
  • Ensure site compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure a sustainable safety culture.
  • Support future NT growth, via leading the mobilisation of a newly secured NT contracts, ensuring safe, compliant and commercially sound commencement

THE PERSON

  • Proven experience in either Facilities Maintenance, Trade management and/or scheduling or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years industry (Facilities, Project, or Asset Management).
  • Multiple site operational experience in a similar role within the industry.
  • Asset management experience.
  • In depth understanding of Work Health, Safety and Environment and ability to apply principles.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget.
  • Ability to form productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven experience in managing successful teams Working knowledge of workplace regulations, including award & agreement requirements.
  • Experience in staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforces.
  • Experience in oil and gas sector useful but not essential
