This position will oversee the catering operation including functions management, and cafe operations. The successful candidate will be well equipped to provide both fantastic services to the customers and clients as well as management and leadership of staff. You will have a thorough understanding of employee management, knowledge of ordering and adhering to budgets as well as great client retention skills and OH&S in the workplace.
The Position
Responsible for the operational and financial performance of the site
Directing and leading the onsite catering & cleaning team, building solid relationships with staff and suppliers
Secure top-tier corporate and other major functions
Continue to develop systems and processes to ensure client satisfaction
Manage KPIs and client expectations
Administration duties such as rosters, people management, training, learning & development
Revenue generation through contract knowledge and experience
The provision of catering services across the business, maintaining great customer service and satisfaction levels at all times
The Person
Must be an Australian Citizen & hold or to be able to hold a National Police check wihtin 3 months of applying.
The ability to obtain an NV1 clearance will be a requirement for this role
Industry experience at the management level, qualifications in hospitality and/or event management
Flexible thinker that is solution focused
Facilities management experience would be very beneficial but not essential
An energetic, creative professional who will remain pragmatic and focused in an ever-changing and challenging environment
A natural leader with a unique approach to education catering; bringing creativity, warmth, and professionalism in a friendly upmarket setting
The ability to foster close and positive working relationships with staff, key clients, and customers is essential as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to think on your feet and problem solve will be a key attribute for the successful applicant
