This position will oversee the catering operation including functions management, and cafe operations. The successful candidate will be well equipped to provide both fantastic services to the customers and clients as well as management and leadership of staff. You will have a thorough understanding of employee management, knowledge of ordering and adhering to budgets as well as great client retention skills and OH&S in the workplace.

The Position

• Responsible for the operational and financial performance of the site
• Establish top-tier corporate and other major functions and manage client expectations 
• Administration duties such as rosters, people management, training, and learning & development
• Directing and leading the onsite catering team, building solid relationships with staff and clients
• The provision of catering services across this business, maintaining great customer service and satisfaction levels at all times

The Person

• Industry experience at the management level, qualifications in hospitality and/or event management
• Functions experience is a must
• An energetic, creative professional who will remain pragmatic and focused in an ever-changing and challenging environment
• A natural leader with a unique approach to education catering; bringing creativity, warmth, and professionalism in a friendly upmarket setting
• The ability to foster close and positive working relationships with staff, key clients, and customers is essential as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
