Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events and corporate cocktail parties to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences. 

Crucially, this role manages the premium food service contract at on of our corporate clients. The environment is a Cafe/bar operation and a strong, events-driven location with a small, agile team, servicing a client known for its cool, creative culture - a leading marketing agency.

The Position: 

  • Stakeholder management and client engagement: Firmly making your mark on the business; building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives.
  • Events Leadership: Must know and be able to drive events. The role demands expertise in planning and executing high-quality, large-scale and intimate events, showcasing innovation.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensuring daily operations run seamlessly while delivering high service standards. Must be comfortable and willing to be hands-on and able to roll sleeves up and serve in the café, make good coffee, and talk comfortably to customers.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and work collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service to achieve mutually rewarding outcomes.
  • Team Development: Developing leadership and employee capability, and foster a high-performance, flexible, and agile culture through continuous improvement and innovation.

The Person:

  • We are looking for a dynamic, resilient, flexible, and ideas-driven operator who is a true foodie and excellent stakeholder manager.
  • Demonstrated experience at management level with a background in culinary or premium food service, especially in a heavily events-focused environment.
  • Must be hands-on: A true operator who is comfortable being involved in all aspects of service delivery, from customer interaction to food preparation and coffee making.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Knows food, is a foodie, and understands how to drive an event-based business.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with key stakeholders and deliver superior service levels.
  • Commercial Acumen: Sound commercial knowledge and knows how to identify and deliver on growth opportunities.
  • Education: A diploma in hospitality or business management is desirable.
